Default 20 year old prescribed Androgel
I have been diagnosed with low testosterone of 134 and my endocrinologist prescribed my Androgel. I have a couple questions but I'll start with just one. Shouldn't he have prescribed me something else to combat the estrogen conversion from the Androgel or is there not enough to worry about? Also, shouldn't he have given me HCG to help my boys keep functioning? Should I get a new doc?

I go back in a month for more bloodwork. Should I ask to get free test and estradiol checked as well to make sure they are in normal range? Sorry, this all kind of hit me at once, I'm trying to get it all figured out.

How did your doc decide to check your T level? I'm concerned about the fertility issue since you're so young.

IT's in that thread too. I had bloodwork done only about a year and a half ago and they said it was fine, so something had to have happened in that time frame from then till now to make my test go that low. My bloodwork was done becuase of a puffy nipple and was decided that I had a small case of gyno. The endo said that my balls look very normal and I still get erections and am able to produce sperm so he said he thinks the fertility issue should be ok.
