Default Shoulder Problem

I have some shoulder/upper back problems that began last May. Do you think you guys could help me if I posted background info, symptoms, etc?

Basic Information:
Both shoulders/the shoulder blade area is almost always uncomfortable and chronically painful. Moreso on the left side. It started last March. My right arm/shoulder suffered from tendonitis or something causing pain due to overuse in baseball but I continued lifting and I think my left shoulder overcompensated and I ended up hurting both.

Symptoms:
Popping/cracking that is painful in my shoulders
The most annoying this is a chronic pain in between the top of my left shoulder blade and my neck.
I don't know if this is possibly but my left shoulder blade seems out of place. the bone extends farther out from my back and causes a bump whereas my right shoulder blade is flat and does not hurt in that location. I can post pictures, too.

Ideas?

Some of your issues sound like serratus anterior weakness to me, especially with scapular winging and interscapular pain. Although, I'd bet you have multiple issues with the overuse and continued pounding on an already injured shoulder. I hesitate to recommend anything specific in case you have a tear in one of the cuff muscles.

i think celc5 is right on the money there saying a weak sholder cuff girdle and any strengthing exercies could just upset it more and make it worse. probably more wear and tear than anything and a slight biomechanical problem. your best bet would be to go to your local physiotherapist NOT your gp or doctor as i think they know fuckall about joints and sports injuries and will prob try to prescribe you something without getting to the root of the problem like a physio does. hey hyper does it hurt if you one arm at a time with palm facing backward and your pinkie finger first raising your arm from your side to shoulder level and down? if you have a medicine ball or a light 5kg plate hold it with slightly bent arms in your hands right out in front of you at shoulder height do you get pain?

yes, went last year, got PT for 8 weeks, slowly got better, took Ibuprofen whenever it flared up again, its bicep tendonititis. I still do my PT exercises, however 10 months later, I am barely even at 50% and just know it will never heal nor be the same again.

Also had an MRI scan on both shoulders.

Nothing works except Ibuprofen for 2 weeks.
