Default Warfarin and the bodybuilder

Dinoiii,
As you may know, I underwent ACL reconstruction. ALthough rehab had been going fairly well, I developed a post op blood clot in my calf, and have now been put on warfarin and luvenox(sp?). ALthough I will only probably be on the luvenox for one more day, I will probably be on warfarin(for those that dont know is a blood thinner) for several months. Here is my question (and I am asking you because I question my doctors actual knowledge on many topics and will be specfic if you want to know why). I know that I "should" watch out for leafy foods and vitamin K, however, is there anything else I should watch out for when choosing my supplements. I've been out of the gym wayyyy too long and need to get going again. My main supplements I was going to implement was creatine and a ph cycle soon, but not until my INR was within range (2.0-3.0), maybe leviathan reloaded if I cant implement ph's. Any response is appreciated. Thanks!

LOL I saw the title of this post and thought "the fuck are you taking rat poison for?" Warfarin is the active in todays rodent baits. Sorry for the tangent, I just got akick out of it.

Well, I would ask you to reconsider the PH cycle actually. This (the PH cycle) can cause an increase in blood viscosity (secondary to increase in RBC/Hematocrit); kind of counterproductive to what you are trying to achieve with the therapeutic protocol (i.e. - Warfarin) actually.

What is present in Levi:Rel again?

As a complete FYI, I would probably avoid many, if not all, herbal ingredients during your Warfarin trials without getting into specifics because of the various coumarins present in some. It is very challenging to go over them all.

Wow, you are quick with responses. I just figured after the preliminary clot has dissipated, a little ph cycle wouldnt hurt especially since I would be on a thinner. I mean, I am an active individual and will, as a result of a change in goals and for rehab protocol for my knee, be picking cardio up significantly. But, your recommendation is noted and the cycle will be avoided, probably for the best anyways for awhile.

Also, just an FYI, I am taking 10mg of warfarin as of now, which once within range, will most undoubtedly be dropped to at least 7.5 if not 5mg a day. Not sure if this even makes a difference.

sorry, i assume that you have a running knowledge of any and all ingredients in all supplements currently out (you gotta work on that). As far as levi:rel-the ingredient profile is as followed...

Leviathan Reloaded Supplement Facts:
Serving Size: 2 Capsules
Servings Per Container: 45
Proprietary Blend: 1000 Mgs
Caffeine
Tribulus Ext 80% Saponins, 20% Protodioscin
3,3'-Diindolylmethane
Coleus Forskohili 20% Forskolin
Acacia Rigidula
Hordenine
PEA (Phenylethylamine)
Velvet Bean Extract 20% l-dopa
Phyllanthus Niruri 10%
Ficus Bengalensis Extract 10:1

Yohimbine HCl, 11-Hydroxy-Yohimbine, 9mgs

I will stay away from herbals. I live pretty wrecklessly and the last thing I need is to be bleed excessively. That wouldnt be fun for anyone.

Now, hypothetically, what would be the possible repercussions of introducing clen instead of other fat burning supplement listed or any for that matter, outside of the typical possible side effects, while taking warfarin. Hypothetically of course.

And as always, thanks Doc!
