Default FDA warns P&G over Vicks products containing Vitamin C

FDA warns P&G over Vicks products containing Vitamin C.

The AP (10/31) reported that the FDA on Friday "sent a warning letter" to "Procter & Gamble Co. saying the company was illegally marketing two Vicks cold and flu medicines containing vitamin C." The FDA "said the single-dose combinations of drug and dietary ingredients in Vicks DayQuil Plus Vitamin C and Vicks Nyquil Plus Vitamin C cannot be marketed legally because they have not been proven safe and effective."

????

Isn't Vitamin C the only supplement commonly known to be harm free regardless of over consumption since your body just gets rid of the excess? The FDA seems like the bully who just likes to pick fights. I like knocking bullys out. A nice hard shot on the chin always brings Samson down.
