As g_lee points out, it is not atypical for people to find some discomfort the first week or perhaps even two (dependent upon how they are doing it - though there are many apprehensions people have during that time and it takes about 2 good weeks to "REALLY" get comfortable with the appropriate protocol), but beyond that...this is actually most unusual.
I'm certainly not of the mindset of Hank as I have helped over 2,500 people use carb-ups at one point or another in their body composition plights with little to no issue at all; though I do still argue adequate completion to be more of a science. This glycogen supercompensation style scheme dates back ages upon ages (even before Zumpano/Duchaine's original UD) and it is very well documented, so my true thoughts include taking a closer look at what EXACTLY it is that comprises your carb-up and such and we'll see if we can't help you from there. Sound like a plan?

Carbs: usually 200 before I start to get that feeling

Foods Ingested
-60-75gr Waxy Maize Startch Immedietly Post workout
-1 cup (cooked Brown Rice)=~125gr carbs
-1 slice Ezekial Bread, 1 slice 100% whole wheat bread=~40gr carbs
-1TBS peanut butter
-2TBS jam=~15gr carbs
-Small protein shake with meals
-I take digestive enzymes and an acidophilis(sp?) daily.
I should also note that i'm going on my 6th week of the diet, oddly enough this did not start until the 3rd carb-up and has been slowly getting worse since. I do however not feel like im in a coma anymore,lol.
