Dana,

what are your thoughts on Ultra Peptide 2.0 on low carb days? seems ideal and low on the sugar.

What about Infusion?

UP 2.0 fits in ok on the weekend of a CKD, but the carb content doesn't naturally support a ketogenic state.

While this is a concern if you were ingesting copious tallies of flax, it probably has inconsequential effects if you are only having a shake or two per day. Hi dinoiii,

That is actually from an old label (quite an old label!) - mind if I ask where you looked it up? I've been trying to get e-stores to update their labels for Infusion, but many have been ponderously slow about responding. It is annoying when I get questions about Infusion, but the information is from an old label that is not in circulation.

Here is the current ingredient listing:

Ingredients:

Protein Blend (Micellar Casein, Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Colostrum Powder, Lactalbumin), Sunflower Creamer (High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Calcium Caseinate, Mono And Diglycerides, Dipotassium Phosphate, Soy Lecithin), Oat Fiber, Flax Seed Powder, Medium Chain Triglycerides, Conjugated Linoleic Acid Calcium Salt, Stabilized Rice Bran, Enzymatically Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten (As A Source Of Glutamine Peptide), Bifidobacterium Bifidum, Natural And Artificial Flavors, Acesulfame K, Xanthan Gum, Lactobacillus Acidophillus, And Sucralose.

So yes, Infusion does now contain flax seed.

The macronutrient breakdown is as follows:

Protein: 47g

Carbohydrates: 12g
Dietary Fiber: 7g

Fat: 12g
Unsaturated: 8g

Zach, I honestly think you'll be fine. I've done it without major consequences and you appear to have a faster metabolism than I in regards to bodytype. Tha only drawback is it's small amount of fructose... at tha very least you can just use one scoop and add an additional scoop of 1.0 (which is typically what I do anyways).

yea, That is what I was planning to do thus why I got vanilla with my cookies n cream.
