i would run C-Assist for a mild/easy Ph cycle .. but for a hardcore cycle i wuld still run CS by AI .. cycleassist is great and has almost everything but red yeast rice( which 1 serving in CS provides 1.2G ..but in cycle assist i do love the addition of grape seed & b5(which i always run separate ..so both have there up's and down .. 8caps/day is alot to take but def. worth it for $30 ..check the pics below for comparison.

I hate to do direct comparisons between products because it seems disrespectful to the other company, so I will try to do so in the most respectful way possible.

Things that Cycle Assist contains that Cycle Support doesnt:
Vitamin B6
Zinc Gluconate
Pantothenic Acid
Grape Seed Extract

Things that Cycle Support contains that Cycle Assist doesnt:
Red Yeast Rice
Nettle Root
Idebenone

Explanations:
While certain standardizations of Nettle Root can be useful in PCT (such as DS's Activate Xtreme), Nettle Root in itself without being standardized for specific extracts doesnt seem to hold much premise for this type of product and an extract such as the one used by DS is very expensive and needs to be dosed very carefully to yield maximum benefits.

We did not include Red Yeast Rice due to the well known controversies surrounding it. People that wish to use it can add it seperately, but many prefer not to use it for cycle purposes.

Also, Cycle Assist offers the convenience of a capsulated product and lists specifically what standardizations are used of each herb listed in the product.

All-In-One On Cycle Support Solution

Cycle Assist is designed to be an all-in-one support solution for basic on cycle and post cycle therapy needs. Cycle Assist contains a combination of specifically dosed ingredients designed to help provide liver, blood pressure, cholesterol, prostate, and acne support.

Why choose Cycle Assist?
Cycle Assist offers effective dosages of specific ingredients designed to help maximize results. There are no filler ingredients. Cycle Assist is straight to the point and properly dosed to not only provide you with the most effective product for your on cycle and post cycle support needs, but also the most cost effective one as well.

Also, unlike many other products in its class, every herb in Cycle Assist is a standardized extract and the standardization amount is clearly identified on the label. This is extremely important because it is the amount of active ingredient that an herb is standardized for that determines the level of benefits received from it.
Example: A product can be dosed very high in mg of herb powder, but standardized poorly and therefore offer very little if anything in terms of effectiveness.

Cost Effective Price + Adequately Dosed + Standardized Potencies =
All in One Support Solution

Examining the Ingredients:
N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine –
N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is an amino acid derivative that is not present in the diet and must be obtained through supplementation. It is more stable than regular L-Cysteine, and offers a variety of overall health benefits.

NAC exerts powerful antioxidant effects and serves to boost immune function and support optimal liver function by acting as a glutathione precursor.

Milk Thistle –
Milk Thistle is standardized for Silymarin, which is well known to help support normal liver function. It exerts both a protective and detoxification benefits.

What is the importance of it being standardized?
The amount of Silymarin delivered by any Milk Thistle product directly relates to the amount of benefit that the product offers. Cycle Assist is standardized to 80% Silymarin. If a product does not state how much Silymarin it is standardized for, you simply don’t know how much benefit you will receive from the product

Pantothenic Acid:
Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B-5) is involved in the production of red blood cells and adrenal hormones. The body converts is to Coenzyme A, which is important for energy production in the body. Pantothenic Acid is thought to help maintain healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and also is used frequently to help combat and prevent acne.

Hawthorn Berry Extract:
Hawthorne Berry Extract is commonly used to help support various aspects of cardiovascular function, including high blood pressure and cholesterol. It has been shown to encourage normal blood flow throughout the cardiovascular system.

What is the importance of it being standardized?
The level of benefits that Hawthorn Berry has to offer is directly related to the amount extract that the individual product in question provides. Hawthorn can be shown to present extractions for various compounds; in Cycle Assist, the Hawthorn Extract is shown to be reflected to at least 1.8% Vitexin which is the standardization that is widely used in hawthorn products specifically designed for optimal blood pressure and cholesterol support.

Vitamin B-6:
Vitamin B6 is a water soluble vitamin that performs a wide variety of functions in the body. It plays an important role in helping maintain healthy skin and hair, is important for proper circulatory function, and is essential for red blood cell formation and protein metabolism. Vitamin B6 is important for cardiovascular function because it is involved in regulating blood pressure as well as other heart functions. It is also important for helping regulate homocysteine levels.

Saw Palmetto Extract:
Saw Palmetto contains a variety of fatty acids as well as phystosterols. These active ingredients help inhibit the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme that turns testosterone into dehydrotestosterone (DHT) and also helps block the binding of DHT to prostate cells.

What is the importance of it being standardized?
The importance of Saw Palmetto Berries being used as a standardized extract is because the percentage of standardized extract represents the amount of fatty acids and phytosterols that are in the product. This directly relates to the level of benefits that the product will provide.

Celery Seed Extract:
Celery Seed Extract is commonly used to help lower blood pressure, cholesterol, and improve circulation. Celery Seed Extract contains the compound 3nB, which acts to help lower blood pressure by acting as both a diuretic and a vasodilator through impacting prostaglandin function. It is also important to note that unlike some diuretics, 3nB doesn’t change the ratio of sodium to potassium in the blood; this is important because by not altering that ratio, the common side effects associated with some diuretics are avoided.

What is the importance of it being standardized?
As discussed above, it is the 3nB in the Celery Seed Extract that is responsible for the positive effects on blood pressure, cholesterol, and circulation.

Grape Seed Extract:
Grape Seed Extract is a potent antioxidant and free radical scavenger. It is used to help support cardiovascular and immune function, as well as to support healthy cholesterol levels and skin elasticity.

What is the importance of the standardization/concentration?
The benefits of Grape Seed Extract are due to the Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins content. There are numerous standardizations available; Cycle Assist uses a Grape Seed Extract that contains 95% Proanthocyanidins to help insure maximum results.

Policosanol:
Policosanol is commonly used to help support healthy cholesterol levels and cardiovascular health.
Policosanol is a mixture of long chain fatty alcohols derived from sugar cane; these alcohols are regarded to possess considerable antioxidant capacity.

Zinc Gluconate:
Zinc is an essential mineral that is involved in over 200 enzymatic reactions in the body. It functions as an antioxidant so it is beneficial for immune support. Zinc is also important in the prostate and may help protect it from damage. It is also thought to be beneficial for skin health, maintaining cholesterol levels to within normal range, and playing an important role in the detoxification of alcohol in the liver.

In relation to my above post about one serving of Cycle Assist in the jpeg being compared to 2 servings of Cycle Support, here is a one dose to one dose comparison:

Cycle Assist:
Per Serving:
NAC - 750 mg
Milk Thistle (Standardized to 80% Silymarin) - 500 mg
Pantothenic Acid - 500 mg
Hawthorn Berry (standardized to 1.8% Vitexin) - 300 mg
Vitamin B6 - 200 mg
Saw Palmetto Extract (Standardized to 45% fatty acids) - 150 mg
Celery Seed Extract (10:1) - 75 mg
Grape Seed Extract (95% Proanthocyanicins) - 75 mg
Policosanol - 20 mg
Zinc Gluconate - 15 mg

Cycle Support:
Per Serving:
Red Yeast Rice - 600 mg
NAC - 600 mg
Silymarin (Milk thistle extract) - 500 mg **
Hawthorn Berry - 500 mg **
Saw Palmetto - 300 mg **
Nettle Root - 125 mg **
Celery Seed Extract - 75 mg **
Idebenone - 50 mg
Policosanol - 10 mg

** note that the label on Cycle Support states that all extracts are standardized, but it doesnt say to what percentage. It also doesnt identify Hawthorn Berry, Saw Palmetto, or Nettle as extracts.

Overall Serving Comparisions:
Cycle Assist contains 150 mg more NAC per serving.
Milk Thistle amount is the same, but Cycle Assist clearly identifies the percentage of standardization.
Cycle Assist contains Pantothenic Acid; Cycle Support doesn't
Cycle Assist contains Hawthorn extract and clearly identifies the percentage of extract; Cycle Support contains Hawthorn Berry and does not specify if it is an extract nor to what percentage if it is.
Cycle Assist contains Vitamin B6; Cycle Support does not.
Cycle Assist contains 150 mg of Say Palmetto Extract at 45% fatty acids (45% fatty acids is regarded the highest percentage that can be put into a capsule, anymore would have to be in a softgel); Cycle Support contains Saw Palmetto but does not identify if it is the extract, and if it is, it doesnt identify percentages
The amount of Celery Seed Extract is the same in both products. Cycle Assist identifies the percentage of extract, Cycle Support does not.
Cycle Assist contains Grape Seed Extract, Cycle Support does not.
Cycle Assist contains 20 mg of Policosanol per serving; Cycle Support contains 10 mg
Cycle Assist contains Zinc Gluconate; Cycle Support does not

As noted in my above post, Cycle Support does contain Red Yeast Rice which we elected not to put in Cycle Assist due to the controversies surrounding it. Also, Cycle Support contains Nettle Root which we elected not to add into Cycle Assist because it only seems effective if certain types of extracts of it are used (such as in DS's Activate Xtreme) and those extracts are extremely expensive.

Couple of final points:
No disrespect is intended towards AI in doing a direct comparision. Both products are excellent choices. Our goal was to put out a superior encapsulated product for on cycle and post cycle support and we feel that we have done so by offering a complete formula priced at 29.95 for 60 servings.

Well if nobody else is going to mention this then I will. Btw I love m drol, so I'm not hatin.

1. To low in hawthorne

2. Way to high in B6!

3. I like how you left out the RYR. Good move.

4. Why doesnt anyone put pantethine in their support products? Price probably? Underrated support supp imo.

Be glad to clarify on that:
1. Are you familiar with the different extracts of Hawthorn? The type extract that we use (the 1.8% vitexin) is the same that is used in Natures Way's Heartcare Hawthorn and they recomend 1 tablet twice daily or 2 caps 3 x per day for intensive use at a dose of 80 mg; ours is 300 mg per dose so it exceeds even their intensive dosage protocol. I cite that product for example because if you look toward many blood pressure and cholesterol sites and forums, that one has some excellent feedback on it.

2. It is a higher dosage of B6 than many are accustomed to seeing, but it is not too high in terms of being beneficial for helping with high blood pressure and cholesterol. To the contrary, it is high dosing in that range that seems to be most effective with that.

3. Thank you; I feel the same way

4. No real comment there.

Dont take my explanations as argumentative; you asked questions so I simply answered them as to why we dosed it the way we did.
