I'd say weak cuff over shoulder inflexibility, stretching this out too much could create a bit of laxity (proper term?) in the joint, similar to overstretching a rubber band, flexibility is good, as it seems with age we lose it, and some fall prey to being quarter pressers, but I feel the big problem, is flat bench seems to be the power strength what can you do movement for the upper body, too much focus on how much your moving, rather than what muscles are truly moving the weight.

I would love to be able to do d/b bench press again but as I train at home on my own it just doesn't work! Cant get my dumbells to go heavy enough unless I stick 15kg plates on them and then they are HUGE! Imagine benching a trash can in each hand! Thats what it feels like anyhow! A spotter would be nice too!
