It all depends the machine man, I used to have one and it added another 10 lbs to the bar, but the paramount one at my gym actually takes weight off b/c its slightly counterbalanced.
why are you worried about the weight anyways? Only reason I can think would be for your training journal and if thats the case either just "say" the bars 45 or just count the plates. ITs your journal so you will know what ur talking about for reference.
