Default Bent BB Row

Hey all quick question...

I had to join a gym for the last month of summer which is "less than perfect" for training especially when i superset everything....and i HATE waiting for equipment....ruins a workout

Are Bent BB Rows with an EZ Curl bar effective??

Provided you can get the grip width you want I don't see why not. They dont have a bench press bar??

Yea they have a couple bars but its a local SMALL gym that can get crowded with packs of high school kids all doing the same routine.....I waited 45 min on my chest/back day for an incline bench press...

I find that when i go early morning its not bad at all but cant ALWAYS get what you want

yea i hear ya on that.... sometimes ya have to make due. like usf said, i dont see a problem with that as long as you have the desired grip.

I run into the same problem at my gym at times. The local high school football team trains there. The coach is a cool guy and knows that they take up a lot of space so he will kick them off a bar until I can get my sets in. What I have found that work good is to bent rows with dumb bells. This will hit the back differently then the barbell will but it is good to throw new stuff at your body anyway. I usually will substitute with these regardless of football teams anyway.

Yeaa thats another alternative....i like using the bar though to get a nice wide grip...really hits the back hard....but i might give this a try and see how it works in to my workout...thanks alden

I prefer the bent over DB rows much more than the bent over BB rows, but sometimes gyms don't have DBs heavy enough for me to use, so I'm stuck doing BB rows
