Default training while on ph

not sure if this should be in the training section or the prohormone one, sorry if its misplaced,

anyway, i was just wondering what your opinions would be in terms of training while on a cycle of CEL hdrol

i assume volume would need to be increased but looking for others input. is recovery time improved much while on it?

my current plan is as follows

Mon chest and triceps
Tues legs
Wed abs + cardio
thrs back
friday shoulders and biceps


a few months ago i did a three day split, lifting a total of 6 days a week, 2 days for each bodypart

just wondering about what your opinions would be on the workout regimen when running a ph, experiences with it etc.

Your work out routine seems fine to me bro. I usually try to take at least 2 days off. Here's my work out routine:

Monday
Legs and Shoulders/Traps

Tuesday
Chest

Wednesday
Off

Thursday
Back and Shoulders

Friday
Arms

Saturday
Chest

Sunday
Off

They say work out for an hour max and that's what I'm trying to cut mine down to. A few weeks ago I was working out for 2 hours. It's hard not to overtrain for me because I come home after a 2 hour work out and lift more weights. I don't like to stop. I can't just sit and watch television or read a book without thinking about lifting something

Just listen to your body.. and while on a PH you'll love the fact that your body's going to recover a lot quicker! Ahh I can't wait to be on again!

thanks for the advice!

so would you recommend i stay on the 4day/week schedule, hitting one body part each time
or switch it back to the 2x/week bodypart since my recovery time will be improved?

what did you do when you ran phs?

Oh I stuck to one body part:

Monday - Legs
Tuesday - Chest
Wednesday - Off
Thursday - Back
Friday - Arms
Saturday and Sunday off

I worked out 4 days each body part except for Shoulders which I could of mixed in on leg day or back day.. but the problem was I was working out for 2 and a half 3 hours lol I didn't want to stop and I didn't feel like I was over training my body but you gotta limit yourself. If you're trying to build mass and strength you want to give it no more than an hour. 3-4 sets with 6 to 8 reps.. nice and slow reps to burn the muscle. And of course you're going to want to watch your sleeping patterns and make sure you're getting at least 8 to 10 hours. I had no problem with that while I was on Desoxydrol because I felt lethargic ALL the time so sleeping came easy!

I like this routine ..except i'm not shuer if i could do shoulders/traps and legs on the same day....shoulder day is probably on eof my longest already.

i like ur original plan santa cuz u stick to one to two parts a day, and those u do two have noncontradicting muscle groups...

i do something like,

chest and tris
bi and back
shoulders and legs
one day off
repeat

abs at end our each routine
same with cardio
through some jump rope in to

Yeah shoulder and back day for me feels the longest! Haha but that's only because I do deadlifts and I go heavy every time. Oh once I go on again in a couple of months.. would it be too much if I work out my calves 3-4 days out of the week? lol just a thought.. I need calves damn it I don't have shit for calves lol it's driving me nuts!

I found the DC training style really kicked my calves up. Here is info posted by Dante

What I do is go to the standing calf raise machine, set the pin at 400# and lift up fast, hold (3-4 seconds), then stretch down slowly (about 5-6 seconds), at the bottom of the stretch, hold (3-4 sec) and then lift up forcefully as fast as you can and hold. I do these until I cant do any more. I started these doing 400x6 and last Monday I did 15. When I get to 20, I'll increase the weight and start again. Next comes the single set at the sitting calf machine. Again, load it up heavy and use the same routine. EDIT - Keep your knees locked out. Only use your calves and ankles to move the weight up and down. Flexing the knees while lifting takes the weight is not working your calves.

These are once-a-week sets. I have not tries this style while "on" yet, but you will probably be adding weight like mad.

When I'm on, I rock heavy fucking heavy!

Warm up 2 x 6
Add a plate get 3
Add a plate get 3
Add a plate get 2
Add a plate get 1
Add a plate this is it your working set Dog Crap it.
Get as many reps and you can get,
Take a few deep breaths (5-10 seconds) and get 2 or 3 more.
Write down the weight and total reps on the last set.
Next time do the same warm up but get 2 more reps.
Did you get over 12 reps on the last set? Add more weight next time.

Then fuck around with some other shit for about 20 minutes, look at some pussy, go home and eat a much as possible.


Here's the split:

Day 1 - Bench
Day 2 - Squats
Day 3 - Off
Day 4 - Dead Lifts
Repeat until the bottle of juicy juice is gone brother!

Oh did I say eat? Eat bitch Eat!
