lets also not forget about potential...growth potential in your first cycle is way higher than subsequent cycles following it.
I weigh ~260lbs now, for me to run a cycle and put on an additional 15lbs in 6 weeks would be unheard of, there just isn't that kind of potential for me to grow in that short of a time frame.
For example, if a professional bodybuilder came off gear and gave himself ample amount of time for "receptors to clear/upregulate," or whatever you want to call it, would you expect him on his next cycle to gain the likes of 15-20lbs? No. Why? Cause he is at or above his genetic max. As you come closer to your genetic max, gains slow way the hell down. Why? Cause muscle fibers will only get so big, when they are small their potential to grow is enormous.
