I would like to thank LG Sciences for granting me the opportunity to give honest feedback on MMv2 and Formadrol EXTREME.

Other than a few select staples, these two supplements will be used exclusively over the next 8 weeks.

Prologue

Age: 27
Height: 5'10"


Quick history to date: I lifted throughout high school, but I quit for my first three years of college. Got back into it my fourth year (2002) and have continued from then on. I've done most mainstream routines - classic BB, full-body, upper-lower and push-pull splits, etc. - all having similar hypertrophic results. I haven't lifted in the < 3 rep range much. This primarily being due to me working out alone all these years. And asking for spotters every single day gets old. I've done moderate to high reps (6+) most of the time.I have also tried various "diet plans" - macro splits, low/no carb, "wingin' it", full blown fat warfare (eating whatever I want), etc. I've been through and survived the "take every supplement under the sun" phase. Now, it's just basics.


Current condition: I'll be honest, I'm a little more on the tubby side than the ripped side. I've been between full-body and classic BB splits this year... mostly full body. Strength is average. Honestly, I feel that should be stronger for how big I perceive myself to be. I guess that's where that heavy lifting comes in, huh? I've been doing a CKD off and on for the better part of 2008 with great results. I started at 240 in December, coming in at 230 in February, and now weight ~220. I've gotten scale readings as low as 213 in the last week or two from glycogen/water depletion. But, after weekend carb-ups, I shoot back up to 220+. I stick to basic supplementation nowadays. Protein, creatine mono, multi-v/m, EFA, etc.


Desired cycle results: My primary concern is shedding some of this fat while maintaining as much muscle as possible... a classic "cut". I would love to see some of this titty fat and love handle blub to say, "Bye! Bye!" Having fat tits suck... it's like pseudo-gyno and it angers me. And my inner tube gives me that unsightly crease in the lower back area when I stand up. Bottom line - I want to be JACKED and TAN!


Expectations: Being a pro-hormone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), I expect MMv2 to increase aggression, which will hopefully manifest itself in more intense workouts and possibly focus (tenacity?) I plan for some side effects regarding hair loss, prostate enlargement, and blood pressure to occur. I am going bald, but I shave my head and could really care less about hair. Heck, all of it could fall out for all I care - less maintenance. I have saw palmetto on hand to help if the prostate swells a bit. I have been taking hawthorn berry in preparation for this cycle and will continue its use.


Training summary: I plan on continuing with my current full-body routine, which is based around the deadlift, bench press, and squat. I start each workout with one of those lifts (MWF). Then I perform two auxiliary lifts, which are also heavy, compound lifts. Sprints are performed on Tuesday and jogging on Thursday. I plan on taking the weekends off - maybe do some walking or light bike riding, etc.


Nutrition summary: I have a desk job, so I'm sittin' on my butt for 8 hours/day. I try to be active after work - walks with the son, wife, and dog being the primary activity. According to WebMD, I burn 3317 calories daily (including workouts). I plan taking in ~2700 (-600). I'm going to start off with a TKD and will continue with it if it seems to be effective.


Supplement summary: In addition to the basic supplements listed above, the plan is to take 6 caps/day of MMv2 for 4 weeks, followed by a 4-week PCT utilizing Formadrol dosed at 4 caps/day the first week and tapered down throughout the remaining 3 weeks.

I'm very curious, as well. Working out at home and in the early morning should put this product to the test... it's tough to stay completely driven in those circumstances.

I am aware of DHT's lack of direct anabolic activity, so I don't plan on it putting on any appreciable mass on its own. But, maybe pushing the extra weight will help me maintain (or possibly grow?).

also bro, i was wondering ..since ure taking 6caps/day of mmv2 .. how are u dividing the doses ? 2/2/2 or into 3am and 3 evening ?

Probably 3/3. At least that is what has been recommended. I'll see how that goes and adjust if necessary.

I lifted from home for 5yrs and the best investment you can make is a power rack with high and low pullies.

I got mine from Dunhamms for $300 and $120 for the 300lb wieght set with olympic bar.Ive added more weight to my collection though.

Day 1

Well, this cycle/log has officially started. Here are my starting stats - taken this morning, cold...

weight - 223

chest - 49
love handles - 41
waist - 40
ghetto booty - 43

right upper arm - 16.5
left upper arm - 16.5

right lower arm - 13.5
left lower arm - 13.5

right upper leg - 27.5
left upper leg - 27

right lower leg - 15.75
left lower leg - 15.75


The only discrepancy wrt left/right symmetry was my upper leg. Having a slightly curved spine and lower back injuries, I know for a fact that one side works slightly different than the other. It has gotten much better over the last year, though.

I took my first dose of MMv2 right when I got out of bed ~5:15. ~5:45 I mixed up and started drinking a Muscle Milk shake. My workout started ~6:15. My first concern was stomach discomfort. I am happy to report that I didn't have any GI issues with my first 3 cap dose. I took the 2nd dose ~12 hours after the first, but after a small meal. I didn't plan it after the meal, it just happened that way.

Here are the numbers for today's workout...

BB deadlift
185 x 10, 10, 9, 8

BB overhead press
135 x 8, 6, 6, 5

BB close-grip bench press
145 x 12, 10, 10, 8


Workout comments: I didn't have any expectations of the MMv2. I just went into my workout with an open mind and didn't try to force any placebo effect. I woke up a bit angry this morning. I don't know why... just a bit moody. The workout went as expected... I increased weights and/or reps from last week. This is one thing I've been able to keep going over the last few months of me attempting a recomp. I've been steadily losing fat, but strength has stayed relatively constant, even shooting up sometimes. Could be CNS adaptation.I didn't necessarily feel any more aggressive this morning after taking the MMv2. But, like I said, I was already a bit worked up for whatever reason.

I mentioned in my first post that my numbers will seem low. I push myself to the max (within safety limitations), so it's not like I'm just being a p*ssy. I guess I'm just a small blubbed bastard. I'm looking to change that!

Overall, a good day.

Blood pressure readings for the day:
111/67, 67bpm
115/56, 66bpm


Oddly enough... these are the lowest readings I've had in years... hmmmm.... My normal readings have been in the 130+ range.

Also, I've decided to go ahead with a carb-included diet. I'm not going to be strict on the macros, as long as my protein is 40+%, I'll let the carbs and fat make up the rest (while keeping sat. fat and sugar).

I am tracking my diet with FitDay. I linked to it in the first post and it's in my sig.

My wife snapped a couple quick pics. The baby was crying, so we were rushed. She didn't have the flash on, so they are a bit blurry and red. These are cold and unflexed. I just firmed up enough to get a good eye at the fat distribution.
