Not a good idea, carbs are the a good idea in the preworkout timeframe (well the less than 1hr to workout timeframe that is)

Mix it with BCAA's or some Whey Iso...

I stand firmly by my statements....
There are some that share the thought that protein can block arginine from creating the "pump" effect, however I did not find this to be true, well I chose to use BCAA's to mix with it and not whey

I am going to assume that the carbs were put in there mainly due to ppl who commonly go by label instructions for carb containing drinks that mainly push MORE product, rather than what is a bit more effective. So, by telling you to take 3 servings per day, they push more product than 1 serving per day, so this is where I would assume the problem lies and where the original question had come from.

No prob, be sure to add in those BCAA;s with the Rag pre-workout though, you won't regret it, you can try both ways if you wanted, but I think you'll enjoy the added recommendation
