    I be doin machine squats, so there aren't many stabilizers being used, but I don't have a choice right now. I am doing deads with strict form however.
    Mostly I notice my top abs look ok, and if I put my hands above my head I'm starting to see my obliques and just a hint of the top of the lower abs. All these fucking years I've never been able to have a full 6 pack and to be honest, until about 3 years ago I'd never had obliques to show. I was thinking I just haven't worked them hard enough or the right way, but I also know I have a tendency to carry most of my body fat within a 1 inch band around my waste, and when I bloat its mostly in my low back.

    same here (not currently, but in the past). I think the idea is that the areas where fat tends to be deposited as you get fatter aren't the same places that fat tends to be lost first. I could go into it more as there is a little bit of actual science behind it but I pretty much believe that's why anyone who's been more than 30-40 pounds over "ideal weight" has a hard time getting abs to show

    I think my body is set up that way. First place to put fat is low abs, and the first place to come off is my face.
    I have veins in my biceps just standing with them at my sides, and not the big vein, but the smaller ones too. After working chest I have a map of Fort Worth in blue veins across my upper body. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm probably still 12-15% bf but its almost all in my low flabdominal region. I had a relative try liposuction and I'd never stoop to that level to get rid of it. Any ideas?

    Over the last month I've cut back my calories by about 10-15% or so, and I'm doing some slower cardio but on a much higher resistance on my elliptical, and I've noticed I sweat a hell of a lot more than going faster on a lighter setting. This was a suggesting from a buddy of mine that has been a powerlifting and bodybuilding coach for 25 years.

    I've dropped about 10lbs in 8 weeks from 219 to about 209-212 depending on if I've taken a massive shit or not.

    The thing I'm thinking though is I worked out for 18 years straight, then all at once took 2 years off. I've only been working out again since July 2013, so about 8-9 months. In that time I've made leaps and bounds, but not like what I thought I would. Strength is about 80% of what it was, endurance is about 60%, complements are about 80% , but I seemed to have plateaued already. With summer approaching I'm going to try to get 2-3 more days of cardio outside, which I think will work being I can walk/run on the trails by my house until I'm tired, then I have to fucking find my way back home.
