I think a leg day should be the day after a carb-laod, or the 2nd day, again, depending on how you split things up....
I mean, with the workout, you could have a few tension days, then have 2-days of glyco-depletion type workouts (not sure if this would make you appear a bit flat though).
I Wouldn't prefer high carbs on off days during a cut. Your daily energy caloric needs has significantly dropped and if you raises calories and/or carbs you are more inclined to store it then use it primarily for glycogen replenishing.
Remember when cutting, your body thinks it starving, so when you load up on an off day it is going will take advantage of the excess calories/carbs (preferred fuel source) and store it...

All good info. I've sorta outlined my split in the following thread but I think for the moment I am just going to try something similar to TKD, and adjust as I go. I'll likely adjust the training split at the 5th week anyways so I may look at something like B-Nat posted above...
