yea, I drink plenty of milk to meet my protein requirements... (I can only knaw so much animal flesh in one day) it's cheep, and clearly the only downside is the carbs... I was curious about this though, as I would think that having milk with MORE fat in it would slow down the release of the associated carbs... and also, in my mind if your aren't a on a keto type diet and are keeping carbs low, then I would expect that a bit of sugar throughout the day, even if there is a slight increase in insulin, would result in this replenishing glycogen rather then going to fat...
