I do pretty good throughout the day in terms of what I eat. Then at night time I get cravings and tend to eat enough that would make up for everything I wanted to eat throughout the day. Any help on how you control these cravings?
drink LOTS of water as it will make you feel more full. Also eat slow releasing protien at night i like cottage cheese and then a tablespoon or two of natural peanut butter and it fills me up for the night.
Also, hoodia is a decent appetite suppressing supplement. If you find your cravings are becoming too much you could try that, its typically pretty inexpensive.
Good point about water enigma. This is also what I do when feeling the same way as mps does. I drink a lot of water and it helps to block the cravings.
I'm going to make a new thread on this eventually, but there is a new fruit that is finally allowed to be imported called mangosteen. It has little macro/micronutrient content but very high in antioxidants (it is put in the "superfruit"/functional food/nutraceutical category), also contains in a substance called garcinol which is supposedly an appetite suppressant (need to check out the lit on that yet).
There are plenty of foods such as this which could offer minimal caloric intake yet satisfy cravings.

How long did it take you to post that on your dialup?
No idea .. but I still cannot yet get over the black and white television we just bought. A box with people talking to me, technology is amazing these days.
