Developing a 3lo/1hi for the stack i am currently running:

3 days Low Carb / 1 Day High Carb

Low Carb Days

Calories: 2276
Protein: 50%
Carbs: 7%
Fat: 43%

Meal One
4 Egg Whites
.5 cup mushrooms/onions
1 TBSP EVOO

Meal Two
1.5 scoops Whey
10g BCAAs

Meal Three
5oz Chicken breast
1 cup veggies (broccoli)
2 TBSP soy sauce

Meal Four
5oz Chicken breast
22 almonds

Meal Five
1 can Tuna
1 TBSP EVOO
2 TBSP Salsa

Meal Six
4 oz Lean Beaf
2 oz Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Broccoli

Meal Seven
2 scoops Whey
3 TBSP Heavy Whipping Cream
11 almonds

High Carb Days

Calories: 2600-2900
Protein: Around 40%
Carbs: Around 50%
Fat: Around 10%

Could use help in setting up a good meal structure for this day...thanks guys

Well, I do a CKD which entails carbs on the weekends, for me simple carb source wise I make my own koolaid with dextrose, and usually eat a lot of jello, pudding, cereal, and gummy snacks.

Low GI carb day entails whole wheat breads, cereals, pasta, whole grain pizza, and some just regular whatever meals.

Someone has been following along.

My thoughts when I designed a similar diet were that you are trying to keep your metabolism revving along with raising leptin levels on this high carb day. Since you aren't carbing up on the day you fully deplete, I thought it was best to skip the higher glycemic carbs (i.e. sugar, etc.) and move into starchy moderate->low glycemic carbs.....

I started with quite high carbs for the morning then tapered off throughout the day.
On my high carb days, I believe I was at 2.5x my bw or close to it. it was pretty high, but I was also about 20% over my maintenance calories for the diet so it worked out.

I broke my meals up into 7-8 meals, depending on when I got up.
%'s below are the % of my total carb intake for the day.

Meal 1
25%
Meal 2
20%
Meal 3
15%
Meal 4
15%
Meal 5
10%
Meal 6
5-10% (dependent on # of meals in day)
Meal 7
5%
Meal 8
0-5% (if there is a meal 8)

thanks both of you for the input! B-Nat yea I followed the one you created and was intrigued by the idea...and it really is working quite.well...dont really miss the carbs on those LO days....

I have been trying to set this up and this is what i came up with:

Meal One: (10:00)

2 slices Multi Grain Bread
4 Egg Whites

Meal 2: (12:00)


2 cups Whole Wheat pasta w/ tomato sauce
1 slice Multi Grain Bread

Meal 3: (2:00)
5oz chicken breast
2 cups WW pasta
1 cup broccoli

Meal 4: (4:00)

2 Slices Multi Grain Bread
1 can tuna

Meal 5: (6:00)


2 slices Multi Grain Bread
2oz cheddar cheese

Meal 6: (7:30)

5oz Lean Beef
1 cup Brown Rice
2oz cheddar cheese

Meal 7: (10:00)

2 scoops Whey

TOTALS

Calories: 2951
Protein: 253g (36%)
Carbs: 358g (43%)
Fat: 62g (20%)

I typically take a lot of carbs.. real during cut only 110. Basicaly load on meals 1 and 2 and after workout
