Default do PHs effect metabolism?

was wondering if PHs have a negative impact on metabolism once the cycle is complete?...i feel that my metabolism is pretty high.. i eat pretty much as much as i want and whatever i want and stay pretty lean. was considering doing a cycle...i assume metabolism increases when on cycle but what are the effects after cycle is complete (short/long term)?

ive never experienced any negative effects after a cycle. Ive heard of people having cortisol spike and lose gains / gain fat but that is their own fault for not taking a cortisol control product.

what causes glucocorticoids to spike...i recall reading a review article that glucorticoids levels remain constant with aging. but wouldn't that only effect the amount of lean muscle? doesn't it work through ubiquentin pathway so would contribute to protein degradation not lipogenesis?
