Default Adjusting caloric intake post cycle

Hi Dr. Houser. I have heard you mention before to people about their diet changing post cycle and this being important for recovery of all aspects.

What exactly do you mean? Lowering calorie intake during PCT or increasing it to help hold onto gains?

I have never really seen this touched upon in detail.

Usually, a ramp up in calories is ideal (EVEN if cutting) in the immediate post-cycle realm. And this is a ramp-up in relation to baseline cycle calorie intake, not pre-cycle values. A systematic decrease would occur as the weeks progress, but this is usually based on what kind of cycle is being run, etc...

Macronutrients too depend on the type of cycle run and inherent end result.

This is a lot more complex than presentation might let on.

If you have a particular cycle run, etc... in mind - I'd be happy to entertain the thoughts; otherwise, we are talking a lot of work on my behalf to post what might approximate 4-5 chapters in a book.

Little off topic, but are you on the ecto side? 3000 calories for maintenance at <160lbs LBM is very high.
