My apologies for not catching this one.
I don't have a lot of experience with this item, as I still believe serum levels to be highly superior despite their ad campaign.
The collection specifics are pretty rough from the DA link you provided T_I. That said, laboratory reference values, et al will vary based on lab specifics, time of day assessment, et al and the write-up didn't seem to reflect this. And to suggest either freeze or ship very quickly is a complete inacurracy. Samples should remain chilled/frozen en route - not usually something accomplished very readily (eliminate the potential for "ease" that is boasted about in the ad, huh?).
The big estimate that are also making is that this approximates the free fraction of the hormone (i.e. - that not bound to plasma proteins and/or SHBG), which is fine but knowing both total AND free hold pertinency for a better internal appreciation for what is going on. In other words, if we don't have a total estimate...we cannot make predicitions about where the potential issues may be should the free fraction come back low or high.
Personally, I don't like it nor do I think it serves as adequate replacement for a tried and true serum sample.
