I ordered everything on your list and I will begin taking them as soon as I receive them.

This is fine and what I would recommend, perhaps would add lysine to the list, but overall - you won't be able to tell what is working if you don't put some in at a time rather than the whole list - the top 5 may be most appropriate for a couple of weeks and then trying the bottom 5 thereafter to see how you respond.
If you use "salt" as sodium chloride, turn over to using potassium chloride substitutes.

Is there any chance this is just normal for me? Or is slightly high blood pressure always bad?
|
Well, it could be normal for you, sure - but this doesn't mean its a "good" thing either.

And yes my pulse and blood pressure do seem to go down in the evening.
Morning and afternoon 95 BPM 135/90-85
evening 80 BPM 130/80-75

Seems to be a vascular response. The PM blood pressures are about right and you certainly aren't in a position to be saying a few mmHg are an issue.
The pulse pressure seems overtly normal at all times.

I would really like to correct this.
I want to live a long healthy life. I just don't know what else I can correct about my lifestyle. I seem to follow all of the recommendations to lower blood pressure, and have for quite some time. I used to eat alot of fast food (once a day(college)) and gave that up about 1 1/2 year ago. Now I eat out about twice a month. Could this have been the culprit and it just hasn't been long enough to correct itself?
|
If we are talking a year and a half - then it is probably not going to "correct" itself.

I am also very very high strung. I can't watch the news because I find myself getting to worked up, that's how bad it is.
|
Well, maybe you just need some Ativan in that case.
But really - maybe some Phenibut and/or breathing exercises would bode you well in stressful situations. Anxiety/Stress as we all have it and it can certainly be positive in some instances ("eustress") when we are to get things done, et al... usually responds best to behavioral modification more than anything.

Side note, I eat oatmeal everyday, usually 1-3 1/2cup serving.
|
Well, I appreciate this side note...but if your blood pressure isn't cholesterol-related...this may not contribute very much to it's lowering.

ld appreciate any information.

Like what? If you have more questions, I will do my best to answer them...but honestly it seems like the stress even caused by your blood pressure isn't good...for your...well...blood pressure.
