Good grief this stuff is hard to find - some guy on AM said that China is really clamping down on this substance, so much so that even Proviant will not touch it due to potential legal issues surrounding the compound.

Thats rediculous considering that Legal Gear, BCS, and few others still cary Formestane in their AI supplement.

I just regeistered at the linked page... hopefully I can order without too much problems.

Yeah. Have you noticed the dosage size though? If D_ is saying 250 mgx4 per day, you basically finish the bottle in 1-2 days.

Stuff must be good since the govt does not want us to have access to it. Yes I am a conspiracy theorist

Yeah, the dosages are pretty damn small.

did you see that IBE is releasing a MCP ether of formestane that supposedly greatly increases oral bio-availability.
i would love to hear doc's opinion on this.

also is the impact on cholesterol and triglycerides that formestane causes worth concern? atd had a very bad impact on my cholesterol levels.

Do you have any links?

One of the things I have a feeling people forget with cholesterol and cycles is that when you go on cycle long enough, your body shuts down test production. As a result, your body also revs up cholesterol production (Total and LDL) while decreasing HDL (as HDLs job is to handle the other two). The reason behind this is that it is essential precursor for new androgen production. This is a normal homeostatic response. The only thing people tend to do wrong is knock cholesterol down in post-cycle when it is trying to aid your andorgenic disarray.

That said, the only thing I recommend is slowly increasing your HDL into post-cycle. Allow your body to correct the rest.

The formestane issues only happen post-cycle when you already have cholesterol woes to begin with. When people go on short-term form cycles (i.e. - 4-6 weeks), this is not a concern. The problem is that the two populations we have that use form are post cycling males (i.e. - with dismal cholesterol panels going in) and breast cancer females (where this may very well have androgenic effects).

Is Formex better than regular Formestane?

Formex resists biodegradation with a dual shield. The first defense is evasion. Typically when something is ingested it is carried through the stomach and into the small intestine where nutrients are absorbed and brought into circulation for processing. The vein responsible for this is the hepatic portal vein (HPV). As the name implies it brings blood directly to the liver for processing and is the site of regular formestane biodegradation. However, there is a loophole in this defense. The more lipophilic (fat loving) a substance is the lower the chance of it entering the HPV and the greater the chance of it entering lymphatic circulation. Since ethers cannot Hydrogen bond and a hydrocarbon group has been added, it becomes much more lipophilic. These substances can enter lacteals, make their way into the lymphatic system, bypass the liver, and reach systemic circulation before ever seeing the first sign of hepatic metabolism. This means not only can you get greater estradiol suppression but for a much longer period than before. The second defense is the MCPE in the 17b position.
