Clomid receptor affinity
I've been recently doing some searches to find out why studies suggest Clomid as serm of choice for hpta recovery. A member on DA graciously explained that clomid has a preferred affinity for gonadotrope cells in the brain, which instigates GnRH.
I also saw that in one of your recent posts, you detailed some specific data on how clomid had some positive affect on gyno symptoms.
So my question is, how specific is receptor affinity? Is it possible that the Clomid will bind to receptors in the brain AND in breast tissue? I'm assuming it is possible, but not quite sure I fully understand the concept of receptor affinity in terms of serms.
