Powerfull is just l-dopa right? L-dopa causes increase homocysteine levels in Parkinson disease patients. So supplementing p5p with L-dopa would likely be wise (not 100% certain this carries over to healthy individuals). p5p decreases homocysteine levels assuming one is deficient.

NOW, having said that I still would not use either to control prolactin. I've never seen anything that confirms the fact pyridoxal-5-phosphate (p5p) does not cause nerve damage. I'd love to read if anyone has anything?

A fun lil powerful debate :

I believe Dinoii mentioned in one of the prolactin threads that one could low dose l-tyrosine or mucina puriens as to potentially prevent or treat prolactin sides (not trying to put words in his mouth - sorry if I'm wrong lol).

Day 5

Weight: 235lbs (-1 from yesterday, still +3 overall)

Good/great workout - got a good sweat and pump going. Good endurance and strength - too early to really say anything obviously. Great news - I dropped a lincoln log in the pool today lol - meaning no more stomach issues though I wouldn't mind throwing in some acidopholus and biodopholus (probiotics) since I'm not consuming any dairy in my current diet. Speaking of diet - I'll really try and get a screen shot of the excel macro posted at some point or at least type it out.

Sides - had good energy surprisingly during work today, got a lot done and was on my feet all day (we're moving offices across town here in Boston so we have to move all the archiving boxes out of certain areas in addition to all the accounting shit I already do). Nothing crazy to report - feeling good thus far - knock on wood.

Did 20 minutes of incline high speed walking for cardio today after lifting. There was also this young mom at the gym today who me and my buddies have never seen before - black hair and the bluest blue eyes I have ever seen - mediterranean blue - and a gorgeous body to boot.

Trip can attest to this - the problem with NH is there are hot girls but either they have kids, married, bfs, or come with some serious baggage for the broad majority of them

Interesting.....found it:
Quote:
I have actually decided to hit up the next two questions in collective fashion as they can certainly be viewed as very similar in thought process.

Originally Posted by xtyler View Post

Cabergoline is probably NOT the best "LH-mimetic" that I can think of, however - this does NOT eliminate its potential benefit "on" cycle and/or during PCT if employed strategically.

I have hypothesized before that "on-cycle lethargy" is actually a result of decreased dopaminergic effect. So, it is not out of the question to view cabergoline (Dostinex) as not only a dopamine agonist in the sense of prolactin inhibition (the overriding theme of this thread), but also a central "lethargy-combatant."

If you are looking at LH-mimetics or something in that genre, look into employing low-dose hCG on cycle (as opposed to running it during the post-cycle period), but this too is in its infancy of suggestion in therapeutics despite people who champion the theory, so it is more or less at your own risk.

Originally Posted by Owen70 View Post

Again, L-dopa agonists/mimetics are likely a good start. I have quoted the use of phenylalanine (though this may not be the best choice if using a blood pressure altering agent, especially progestins), tyrosine, mucuna puriens, etc... as all being good choices for the dual mechanism of prolactin-inhibition and combating lethargy and the protocols employed by my clients have been received very well.

Quote:
Also, do you advocate cabergoline or bromocriptine use as anti-prolactins during a progestin based cycle?
Sometimes if overt galactorrhea (milky secretion from the breast tissue) is seen, cabergoline may be your only choice; but while this may very well be used - its employment should be viewed with caution as there are, in effect, a series of GI, neurologic, and cardiovascular side effects that are very real that can be certainly exacerbated while on cycle.

The best first step in this scenario is usually cessation of the offending agent before employment of both Dostinex + the AAS, and this is likely a more prudent offering to avoid some of the heightened sides with both run concurrently.

Quote:
For example's sake, let's say the cycle is 60-90mg of trenadrol and 50mg of halodrol for 4-5 weeks.
And see this is what I was thinking you were in reference of - C17-alkylated oral PH/PS/DeS where the pharmacodynamics/kinetics are even LESS clear.

We can all likely deal with GI side effects (nausea, obstipation, etc...), however - the cardiovascular and neurological sides with combining these (and in many instances ... it is unncessary) to me seem unjustified.

Again - basic summary:

If hyperprolactinemia experienced on cycle...

[1] Cessation of cycle is first step.

-followed by-

[2] Potential employment of one of these dopamine agonists. I am more inclined to give a thumb's up to trying tyrosine and/or mucuna puriens on cycle if trying to "cut potential sides off at the pass" though this is a protocol that has not been thoroughly examined at this time outside of some general anecdotes with clients (will do something more standardized in the near future).

Day 6

Off day. Obviously zero time to go to the gym when I have to wake up at 4:30am to get ready to commute down to Boston and then come back in the afternoon only to head off to grad school class at night. Energy level is surprisingly fairly good - I haven't had a real need or desire for stims thus far which is impressive with me. Elbows a little dry so I picked up some glucosamine. Also having some fairly vivid and provocative dreams... last thing I remembered before I woke up this morning was banging this hot euro chick from work who recently left for another position within a company

Honest to god, I nearly jumped out of my seat though when she unexpectedly emailed me to chat - I kind of get the impression she knew all along I wanted to just absolutely own her butt haha - would be fairly ironic if I did get to eventually screw around with her

Anyways keepin it real - bumping to 100mgs halo soon and hopefully my napalm gets here soon from a trade I did so I can start throwing that into the mix and get the lower regions to tighten up as the upper abdominal region is starting to feel tighter.

Thumbs up

Day 7 - off

Day 8 - Weeeeee Water Weight

Weight: 238lbs - Holy Shit - +6lbs overall

Looking slightly more lean up top, strength is starting to kick in a little bit at 100mgs of the gaspari halodrol. The thing I love about the halodrol is the endurance - it was fantastic for me the first time back in January and is awesome again this time around. Maybe it's a combo of all 3.

For chest I've decided to stick to incline movements for compounds and decline movements for isolation because I believe these areas (and my shoulders) are areas where I should really focus and try to make my gains on. Great workout today despite 4 hours of sleep last night - grad school at night full time + working full time with an hour commute each way kicks my ass. It would have been close to 6 hours of sleep last night except if my parents (yes I live with my rents to save money until I finish grad school - don't hate lol) came home drunk last night at 1am from the Jon Bon Jovi concert - god bless them for going out and still having a blast in their 50's.

Anyways, workout was great today. For my first exercise I did I think 5-6 of my 10 sets of 6 reps at 225lbs for free weight incline barbell and third exercise was a solid seated barbell military press ranging all the way to 155lbs (not near my max 6 reps but still good for following incline barbell). I always go full ROM (below the chin) - felt good. Also did 20 minutes of cross training eliptical machine followed by abs. Think I'm going to toss in my napalm starting week 3 or 4 to try and really shed the lower ab and lovehandle fat from bulking.

Sides - some aggression and a little irritable - but good mental feeling. Back pumps - there was a full stab in my mid left back today while at work that hit pretty hard but dosing taurine and drinking tons of water immediately took care of it. Glucosamine 1000mgs has killed the elbow aches completely for now.

Oh (I know long post - I ramble) - good story time - there's this new girl at the gym - super hot, black hair also, smoking body and never wears a sports bra (god help me). Definitely looks my way a lot - today i'm on the incline bench and she comes over to the row of benches to do tri kickbacks. The small dbs are all the way to the left side - I'm all the way to the right. All the benches are empty... she walks over in her tight ass black pants to the bench directly in front of mine, promptly bends over, and does her exercises and I am just getting an eye full of ass and can make out pure 100% toe outline. I thought I honestly was going to die. I need to find a way to remedy this situation FAST
