Default Chef's Lean Xtreme 2.0 Log

Thanks to Designer Supplements I will be testing Lean Xtreme 2.0 beginning probably at the beginning of next week.

Starting stats:
Age: 21
Height: 5'7
Weight: 165
BF: 15-16%

(Pictures will be posted this weekend hopefully)

I will be using the following products alongside Lean Xtreme 2.0:

Bulk Beta Alanine
Vitargo CGL 1 or 2 scoops postworkout depending on carb intake
ACES + B-Complex
NOW mineral complex
Fish oil caps
Probiotic acidophilus blend
DS Glucophase

Training: DC training split
Monday & Thursday: Chest, Back width, back thickness, Shoulders, Tris; Tuesday/Friday: Quads, Hams, Calves, Biceps, Forearms
Off days: Try to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio in the morning and core training as much as possible.

Diet: modified carb cycling diet
Mon: low, Tues: low, Wed: moderate, Thurs: moderate, Fri: high, Sat and Sun: none (usually no more than 20 but I am for 0)




Lean Xtreme: New & Improved

Cortisol alters the way your body stores fat, essentially increasing levels of what is known as visceral adipose tissue (VAT), or in layman’s terms the solid belly fat that overweight men with tend to have. VAT is very difficult to lose when cortisol levels remain excessive and the issue is further compounded by cortisol’s effect on the thyroid gland.

As most people know, thyroid output is directly correlated with metabolic rate, governing both muscle building (via protein synthesis) and also fat burning. High stress levels from increased cortisol levels can exhaust the adrenals and negatively impact the release of thyroid hormones T3 and T4.

Cortisol can also have a pronounced impact on appetite,affect bone density, suppress the immune system, and negatively affect cognitive performance such as memory and quick thinking.

Introducing the New & Improved Lean Xtreme™

*Felt OK in the gym today. Not "feeling" anything from the Lean Xtreme yet obviously but diet has been right on track. It's going to be tough for me to do a carb cycling diet like I originally planned so I'm going to just go as low as possible carb wise during the week and load on weekends. I'll weigh in at the end of the week.
