Well the belt is freaking AWESOME!
I have never really seen a belt this well constructed. I am in love. I think I will have to cut back on my lifts bc the belt weighs a ton (jk). Extremely solid. Exactly as described on their site.

The knee sleeves on the other hand are going back. I followed their sizing instructions on their site, but these are still way too small. Need a larger size. I know they should be tight, but I can barely struggle to pull them up! This is with NO tension on the velcro straps...crap! Kinda bummed. Guess I have a few days to get them exchanged. Taking tomorrow off so did not plan to lift again until Monday.

Nice! Have the same 2 prong belt. PL belts offer great support. And the name Forever is a good name for it. I bought mine when they were only $40. lol! It was awhile ago.

For what it is worth......just use the belt on your heavier sets so your low back/abs remain strong. Also, set the belt one hole looser for your deads than your squats and pull the front down slightly. This will give you the support you need without cutting off air. Cinch that baby for squats. Your SQ will go up, no doubt.Your form/balance will improve as it helps arch your back, plus the support.

I have been looking into a variety of factors that will allow me to keep squatting. Something about my right knee, my form at parallel, a slight rightward posterior lateral rotation at about 4/5th the way down...all these things are contributing to knee pain. Trying to work on form (ie not rotate) and am able to do so with light load. Once the weight is up (anything over 315 ish) I start to rotate and I think this (in addition to my jacked medial meniscus) is contributing to my knee pain and instability when squatting.

So far I have invested in the following. We will see if any alone or in combination actually result in me being able to squat.
Inzer Belt
Inzer Knee Sleeves
Werksan shoes
Celadrin caps and cream
Glucosamine/chondroitin

Hopefully one of these or more likely a combo of these will assist me.

I have a generic belt that I have used rarely. Even set me recent PR in deads without belt. Only straps. Not planning to belt every lift, just the 95-105% stuff with the Bill Starr workout. Will most likely wear the knee sleeves every time I squat just to decrease strain and potential for further injury (except warm-up/light).

Question for you about this belt. I have read where some people feel that they need to wear the rehband back support when using this belt just bc the belt pinches their skin too much without it. What are your thoughts?

Well, it can pinch and bruise. I get marks from it-the bottom left digs into my hip bone when I SQ. The bigger the bruise, the better I squatted. Plus, I do not know how tight/supportive it would be if you have a back support and a t-shirt under it? A few heavy sets here and there you should be good.
