Steak Roulade
Ingredients
1, 12oz piece of strip steak
1oz spinach
red onion sliced thin (julianne) - to taste
roasted red peppers sliced thin (julianne) - to taste
2tbsp of gorgonzola cheese or smoked gouda cheese (shredded)
salt and pepper - to taste
1tbsp Olive Oil
Method
1.) pre heat oven to 350
2.) Slice steak down middle (horizontal)
3.) Pound thin
4.) Add spinach,onions, roasted red peppers, and cheese
5.) roll meat with stuffing
6.) Sear to brown meat in sautee pan with the olive oil hot, the lip from the end of the roll needs to hit the oil first.
7.) finish in oven and cook to desired temp
