Default T3 & Albuterol sides

I just started my cycle this morning.

50mcg of T3 and 8mg of Albuterol taken at 5am, empty stomach, before cardio.

About 7am (leaving for work) a bit shaky, but nothing really bad. Just like I had about 6 cups of coffee.

Then, about 9:30-10am, I'm sitting at my desk struggling to keep my eyes open. I had to get up to keep splashing water on my face to stay awake, and then finally gave in and grabbed a cup of coffee.

Now, that's my first caffeine of the day, and I was taking 2 Xantrex 3s (at 5am) and drinking a cup of coffee at 7:30am every day prior to this. I stopped the caffeine intake because of T3 and Alb.

Is it normal to "crash" and struggle to stay awake?

I'm scheduled to take another 4mg of alb around noon. Good idea or bad?

K, my uneducated 2 cents... RA and D_ will hopefully chime in...

Don't know about the T3 for sure (never tried this due to catabolic concerns, but am on T2 now), but you could have some type of hypothyroid rebound imbalance with the exogenous source of T3 if you are "tired"? What is your diet like out of curiosity? i.e. if you had a large amount of carbs after your workout, you could by hypoglycemic...

You may also just be going through caffeine withdrawal as it sounds like you were having about 500mg of it every morning, which is a pretty crazy dosage to just drop off of... your adrenals could be burnt out, so you may be getting some type of hypoadrenal crash off the Alb as you're hitting the 4hr half-life mark? Were you taking any other kind of beta2 agonist (ephedra, clen, even synephrine) before this? You may want to taper down on the caffine and taper up on the Alb (8mg is a bit much to start, although I've gone over 16mg after a taper up) and run some Ketotofin/Benedryl to keep the beta2 receptors up-regulated... and also consider a 5on/2off for the Alb to give your beta2 receptors a rest...

Thanks for the response.

I've got the benedryl set for tonight, planned on dosing at 75mg. And the cycle is planned at 5on/2off for 8 weeks. We'll see how that goes.

As to the rest of your questions, I'm not taking any other beta agonists. Dietwise, I just had eggs and a couple handfuls of peanuts.

The coffee did actually seem to fix the problem, so it might have been caffeine withdrawls, but I didn't think it'd hit me like that. I figured it would be more of unable to get started at all.

I would think that as long as you monitor your BP youc an run the caffeine if you use it as part of your routine... might want to look into Reset AD, as it's supposed to address adrenal fatigue... JW's logging it (and a couple of PH's) right now and is in love with it...

It must be the caffeine, I had to drink another cup of coffee yesterday at about 3:30-4:00ish to keep my head from hitting the desk.

I don't know where I got the idea that caffeine was a bad idea with T3/Alb, I just figured they were stimulants and I wouldn't need the caffeine.

Today I haven't been hiding from caffeine, although I've cut back, and everything seems to be going much better. If I start to feel a bit sleepy, I just take a zantrex or grab a cup of coffee.

So far so good.

Glad to hear that; fyi, D_ has converted me from a caffeine junkie to a guarana junkie for a few reasons:

1) I don't use caffeine except to "wake up" since I work out in the early AM, so I was using it in an ECA type stack, and it turns out the A isn't needed, and the C doesn't help fat loss.

2) The guarana helps fat loss big time (studies all over the place on this) and only has a small amount of caffeine.

3) There is some evidence (ask T_I or D_) the caffeine actually hinders fat loss!

3) I don't get a "crash" now after my workout when I come down off the caffeine, so life is "cleaner"...

I would recommend you do the same, and try to wean yourself (slowly) off of it...

GL with this cut cycle... have you done the T3 before? Curious as to your impressions from your experience with it; as I mentioned my main reason from staying away from this has been the muscle catabolism concern, along with T2 being less suppressive and OTC (albeit less effective)...

No, first time with either T3 or Albuterol, so naturally I decided to stack the two.

I figure the weekends will give me a better picture of what effects each has when I go off the Alb for two days.

There's so many different opinions on the extent of catabolism with T3, I figure if I notice it, I'll back off of it.

How do you take your guarana and do you have a guarana to caffeine conversion chart available?

I've only recently become extremely caffeine dependent. About two weeks ago (?) I suddenly couldn't pull myself out of bed for my 5am cardio. So I went to Target and grabbed whichever product they had that appeared to have the most caffeine in it. (Which was Zantrex 3.) Since then, I've been popping them when I first get up, and about 20 minutes later or 10 minutes into my cardio session, I'm wide awake and full of energy.

If guarana can get me a quick energy kick in the pants in the am, I'll certainly give it a try.
