Yup...I gota give it to Faber if it goes to the ground.
His defense is too good, and he can strike elbows and punches from some crazy positions.
I don't see Pulver choking him out or submitting him or even pounding him out on the ground.
I think Pulver's best bet is to keep it standing...there he does have better than a puncher's chance!

It is going to be a war , but I have to go with my gut that Faber will prevail. Pulver could pull it off though, he has been training his ass off (ecspecially his grip strength) and is gonna look for a knockout.

Who knew Faber could fight on his feet that well....WOW!
F%&!# Pulver's left....Faber's right looked twice as fast and twice as hard!

As a side note:
Any and all of Sunday's WEC fights would have been a better show for CBS'..the EliteXC show Saturday Night was bunk MMA.

5 rounds, Judges Decision, Faber won.
Pulver took on one helluva third (believe that was the one) I thought the ref was gonna stop it, but it showed pulver's strength.
Faber only looked slightly rattled toward the end, but it woulda taken one hell of a series of punches with a nice finishing punch to take him out. Faber has only been beaten once, and I don't see him being beaten again in the WEC

Yea...I should have added, hats off to Pulver! (much respect dude)
He is a tough and talented mofo...if there were no Faber in the WEC at 145 lbs Jens would be the Champ for sure.

Incredible fight ... I was surprised at how well Pulver defended Faber's few takedown attempts. He sprawled real well and was very good on the ground. Nothing surprised as much as Faber absolutely working Pulver standing up for 5 rounds though .... awesome fight!! Would have been so much better for the sport of MMA had this been shown on a network channel as opposed to that god awful eliteXC event haha.
