I have already suggested this with the other staff, I really want to get this one going, so hopefully we see this soon.

How often would you be able to do these scheduled events? Weekly, monthly, etc..

Well, I would do them as much as possible.

I could probably commit to monthly, though bi-weekly will likely be doable after October.

Weekly is pushing it a tad, that's 52 committments added in to my already wonder schedule. HA!

BUT...if we invite guest speakers like other forums, it may be an additional draw (so...don't just settle on me; this could even fill in the non bi-weekly gaps and to keep a step up on the competing forums, how bout you run a chat minutes forum specifically that goes over bullet points on what was covered in each session for those that can't make it - it would simply be an additional draw and then discussions can likely continue on points people aren't happy with -or- things that just didn't sit right with them even after the description).

I agree the chat rooms would be good... likely a good idea to break them up similar to the forums; i.e. topic based to keep them together, and for the scheduled events provide the main "speaker" the ability to give/retract the ability to "speak" to those that "raise their hand" to keep things from going down rat holes...

The events could be logged in raw format as well... maybe even some/all of the chat rooms could be logged...
