Oh yeah... strength is way down because I cut out my carb-up meal. I'll probably be doing a carb cycling diet starting on thursday with my new trainer.

- I was dragging ass. I was only resting 30sec between sets and going slow on the reps. I went light today as my trainer advised me to hit it slow and high reps.

Why did he recommend to go lighter during this stage?
Just curious on credentials a bit too. Is this guy going pro or a bb-er or....?

not to bash, but you want to keep it lower reps to maintain that muscle, if anything do a burnout set at the end of each exercise or a nice drop set in high reps of something and do it last.

He's a local who's very good. He won the over-all in 07 Oklahoma NPC. There's pictures of him on MD.

I'm still going to be going heavy when I can, but this past week I've been extremely weak and tired, so going light has been good for me. He only recommended that I go lighter a couple of sets or certain workouts to condition myself... and go heavy on the middle sets.

Yeah, ATM I'm glad that I've been doing lighter weight till the new diet starts. I've told him that doing heavy weight has really helped me keep my mass and he wants me to continue lifting heavy and incorperate some conditioning.
