MST Somnidren: Quick Hit Review
Well, I tried this product and had finished about a month ago and had promised a log or review, so here's the review.
Appearance: It's a tiny little bottle, but it packs a punch, the scoop inside makes you question the 20 servings, but they are all in there.
Taste: It tastes like ground up flintstones vitamins which brought me back to childhood and fulfilled my dreams of wanting to down the bottle.
General Effects: Well, about 10 minutes after I took it my chest started feeling funny, but I knew it would happen due to the GABA content. I then began to feel really relaxed and at ease. I did notice that as I progressed I was doing a rounded scoop to keep effectiveness as it seemed to wear down a little. At the end, although it was not an advised thing, I did try nearly 2 scoops, and that was the best damn nights sleep I had.
Overall Thoughts: I feel like I am growing better now than I have in the past few years. Now, this is just general feelings, not saying the Somnidren was a part of this, but then again it could have been. I will try it again in the future for an extended period of time. On overall effectiveness, I felt very well rested the next morning and was rather calm as I tend to get a little wound up at times.

When did you take it, before or after your pre bed shake? It says take on an empty stomach so i was wondering if i should take it then wait 30 minutes before my shake or take my shake then wait 30 minutes and take this.

I would take the shake and actually wait about 45min-1hr to allow transport of the shakes nutrients, then take the somnidren so that it can take its effects just before you go to sleep. You may have to increase the dose slightly, as I did, to continue to get the same effects. I also found it to work better when I took it only on workout days (before bed of course) but it seemed to help me sleep better, as sleep wasn't interrupted much on off days

Well it tastes like ground up flintstones vitamins, so to me it wasn't bad, and I just dumped the serving on my tongue and rinsed it down with water.
I wouldn't want to burn any bridges with my fellow reps on other boards, but I am curious as to why that suggestion was made. I mean with the dopamine that is in it along with the l-theanine I don't think it would be a good idea especially with the consideration that they can mess with serotonin levels. Then there are the co-enzyme inclusions along with other vitamins in the product that may not work very well in the PWO timeframe. It also seems that most GH boosting products are at their best when not being consumed around the workout time, instead in the morning or before bed. Let the workout stimulate the release of GH, the product could aid this at different times for additional boost, just my thoughts.

As far as price goes, I would only take at night on workout days only. The effects don't seem to be cumulative, and the body would have less of an ability to adapt and reduce the efficacy of the ingredients.
It should be pretty fairly priced here at TF, and if you don't like it, I'll buy it off of you!
