You may want to benchmark the linearity of your scale @ 0.01g before trusting it. Some of these cheap mg scales do not hold up to spec - they drift over the range (centered usually to 100g - the typical calibration mass). I'm not familiar with that jennings scale so I can't say, but I don't really trust the .01g accuracy off the bat at anything short of a good scientific-grade scale.

x2, but really, when you get to the point where you are at milli's .001g is what you need.

A good Flinn scale is pretty dead on linear in my experience - that's what we've always used. For stuff like this I've never needed more than a 10mg accuracy so I just use a .1mg scale (benchmarked it to our scales and it tested out ok). The information provided there is good for spec, but isn't really performance data. I'd want to see the drift from the sensing loop.

Claimed accuracy of 0.01 g scales should be just fine when capping 50 caps at a time using the CapMQuick. Remember... your dosing is multiplied times 50, so the weighed amount on the scale is going to be higher.

I know guys who weigh 0.01 g of product and put into cap, then repeat.
This is where accuracy of balance is CRUCIAL.
You don't really need a "capper" if your going this route anyway, not to mention this would drive me crazy.

You might be surprised . A good tribeam can be excellent in terms of reliability & drift. If digital is truly the future, then we really are all screwed.
