Inflamed Shoulder
So my shoulder has been a little sore since my last shoulder workout. Feels like the same type of inflamation that I had when I trained in Olympic lifting 6 years ago. It only gets sore from doing DB military, Push Press, and Snatches so I am going to back off those some and do arnold presses. An orthopedic guy I know said to take Aleve for a few days to help it out. I don't really want to take any NSAIDs if I have other alternatives, anything you guys could recommend? Prefer something I can get from a store, hell I'd even go to GNC to get it because I don't want to wait for delivery. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess I better take a closer look. Did a search for NSAIDs and only a pct article came up. Guess it's time for some reading.

If you are looking for a supplement, I have tried 3 different cissus products and got the best results from USP SuperCissusRx. It worked even better when I increased my dosage of fish oils with the CRx.
You are on the right track with modifying your shoulder press. Typically, a neutral grip (palms in) is the least detrimental in overhead movement. Do those presses in a slight incline (about 15 degrees less than 90) to further reduce shoulder irritation.
If your adjustments and supplements don't take care of the problem, I'd take a week off from pushes (continuing with pulls and anything that doesn't irritate your shoulder of course). If you are correct and it is simply inflammation, your shoulder will welcome the time off.

Which article are you referring to dinoiii, as I also could not find it
I have been having similar issues, and my shoulder has even popped during overhead lifts. I also think my triceps have compensated in taking on the additional load from my weakened shoulder and I am now having issues with my elbows (directly on the olecranon process as well in the tendon ligament between radius and ulna which would be in between the olecranon and the medial epicondyle)

My 2 cents... besides anti-inflammatory supplements (which I've learned includes things like Fish Oils, CLA, etc...) I've found that rotator-cuff PT has helped provide stability for my shoulder (where I've got some chronic movement in the AC joint if I don't focus on scapular retraction during certain movements) and reduced the cause of the inflammation to the point where I can now perform movements I thought would be forever out of my reach (behind the neck military presses being a big one)
I've got some Cissus I've yet to try; however, I've read that this is more for bones then joints...

I know this is an old post, but thats what happens while using the search feature.
I went to using a BodyMaster Shoulder Press at the local Gold's along with db's when my shoulder pain got really bad.
While I was on a Tren cycle (Estra-4), I had some pain while doing a standing military press, but was able to complete my sets without further problem. Two days later while finishing up my flat bench sets, I again experience the shoulder pain so much so that I could not complete my set, nor could I do any push exercises without extreme pain.
I was on my 5th set and just lifted the weight off the stand when I had a sharp pain in the front of my left shoulder. By the time I set the weight down, I figured it was a shoulder pump ( I had one L-deltoid pump and one lower back pump before this) but when I went to massage the shoulder, the muscle was normal and I had one area that felt like I had a hot nail in me. Why a hot nail, well... I have had a nail and a knife stuck into me and both only felt bad "after-the-fact". Whereas I figure a hot nail would be instant isolated/concentrated pain, like the time I had some welding slag go down my collar, that was instant pain to one distinct area.
Anyways, I was only able to do pull movements for about a week and then slowly I started adding low and mid-level cable flys until I was able to do the bench again. I am still shying away from standing military presses.
What brought this up is that I am almost out of animal flex and was searching to see what most liked here at LB for joint support. I am ordering some VPX Glucosa Cream to try that out.
