CLA in my opinion should be a staple, IF affordable when considering the dosing I have offered in my articles section. Also, recent data with CLA + Whey Protein + Creatine used together should raise the eyebrows of everyone on this board - especially given the state of PHs recently, or those that cannot use them secondary to health reasons.

TMG or trimethylglycine, should be used for those concerned about cardiovascular health alongside the B vitamins - folic acid, B6, and B12. I am still a fan (despite conflicting evidence; more unbiased accounts suggest it aids the vasculature), of lowering homocysteine levels as much as possible (more positive in the cerebrovascular rather than cardiovascular research, but I think again the cardio stuff is oftentimes poorly controlled given the widespread attempts at secondary prevention rather than primary).

CLA is the only "legal" supplement (aside from caffeine) proven to reduce fat. It's also been show to have muscle building properties in some studies.

I will add it to my arsenal...

CLA dose should be 6-12 grams but what about TMG,, 1000mg?

Very Helpful! Thanks! I currently take 1500mg 3x a day. I'm under 150 (130) but am a girl so its ok I also take it with ALA to help aid in extra muscle growth, but am thinking about adding in Sesamin as well.
