That's got to be a joke because it seems like they see what they want to see in interpreting the plots.
1) Testosterone decreased for a couple hours after watching erotica. It never rose above the initial measurement taken before the film.
2) Cortisol didn't go down after watching erotica. There was actually a slight peak during the film, otherwise, it stayed consistent.
3) For the non-erotica, cortisol case, did the subjects watch a film of their family being murdered? They had a huge cortisol spike during the film.
4) Prolactin level actually decreased more for the non-erotic film, it's just that the subjects watching the erotic film started with a lower prolactin level to begin with.
