Do you consider these warm up sets or work sets?
Warm up sets, you should be able to do with ease.
Work sets, the load should be about near max effort at that weight.
When I warm up, it looks like this
40% of workload @ 6 reps
60% of workload @ 4 reps
80% of workload @ 3 reps
90% of workload @ 2 reps
95% of workload @ 1 reps
and sometimes I might do my work set weight just for the feel...
