correct...most if not all spec ops guys go thru buds. every branch has there own SOF.

OP - The Marines have a new SOF called MARSOC... if you can make it in, your friends at home that are Marines will shit their pants. MARSOC is the hardest possible training evolution for SOF, just as an entrance test, you spend a ridiculous amount of time and energy trying to prove that you have what it takes. If I was healed and in twice the shape I am now, I would do it.

well the past couple of days I been thinkin bout maybe joining the marines. Everybodys been telling me that Im more likely to see combat if Im a marine.
So I guess what Im trying to figure out is which one would fit me better? Cause I want to be in combat situations and possibly spec ops.

first of all that is the most assnine thing i have heard in a while.... NOBODY wants to get shot at. if you are thinking about joining the service just so you can see combat, then you probally had better do some soul searching. if you wanna join the service do it because you love your country and you want to help protect it. but only young dumb kids say they wanna see combat. i've been there twice partner and if i never had to do it again it would be too soon. now that being said if i get told today when i get to work to pack up your going, then im gone.... NO QUESTIONS asked, cause i LOVE WHAT I DO... im just not a war monger.

Im sorry I wasnt trying to sound assnine. I know I sound dumb trust me. I get told everytime I tell anybody that. I'm not trying to sound dumb. Its just that every since I was a little kid I've wanted to be the one actually out there fighting. I wanna be the guy thats out there putting my butt on the line. I'm not saying that I want to be in combat cause thats just what I want to do. I do want to do it for my country. I want to actually be able to say that I am out there risking my life for my country to protect it and to protect its rights. You can call me a dumb kid. I know I'm a dumb kid. I know theres a risk that I could die or get severly injured. I know that, and I'm not saying that the people that are doing other jobs arent protecting and serving their country as well. I'm not doing it because I want to get shot at or because I want to kill muslims. I just want to actually get out there and fight for my country.
