celc5, i dont doubt that calipers are more acurate.... but this is what we use for the Army and all you need is a tape, no expensive calipers.... actually i hate the system we use but we have been using the same system for a very long time and it works for us, so i thought i would share it for anyone how wanted to use it to help them out figuring thier BF%
i forgot to tell ya'll... all you ave to do it enter your height and weight and age... then measure your waist around the naval round down to the closest .50inch 3 times.... do the same to the neck, measure just below the adams apple round up to the closest .50 inch and enter those in the blocks and the program will do the rest for you ... it is really easy, some has done all the leg work for you you dont have to look anything up just enter numbers... hope this helps atleast one person out....
