Training comments:Got the numbers I was shooting for DLing tonight. Was not going to max out but wanted something close. Got a little dizzy after the GMs, but at least I remembered to do them this week. Like to get back to 405 again-getting close. Pretty shot and biceps hurt a little so I did not row. Going to try and BP on Sunday to make up for the missed Wednesday training due to pain. This was my last DL session until meet day. Next week I will not DL, then the week after the meet so I should be fresh. Probably will open at 606#(275kg) and go from there.

most people give up after doing just 3 sets.

yeah, but the first 5 sets are just warm ups.

I guess the first time I touched a weight was about 24yrs ago.....damn....now i feel like shit! lol! But, there was a lot of off and on time in there. Last surgery was about 4 yrs ago, so since then I have been steadily training for the most part.

I am 6', ~232# ,~10-12@bf, 38yrs old, normally compete in the 220# class. this time I do not think I can though since I can not get off work the Friday before the meet. it is 2 hrs away so I might just go 242# class. Will be hard to loose water while working etc.

Planning on 606 then 650 then shooting for 667 or 672 hopefully this time, depending how things are going after the SQ/BP.

Training comments:Well I could not get 445 to touch in my shirt and my arm was screaming so i did not do any accessory work. Will not get a good BP at the meet like last time, but what can you do. still going and giving it 100% just will take more advil next time.
